Terms of Service

By using Know My Child ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Know My Child is a caregiver communication platform that allows parents and guardians of children with disabilities to build care profiles, share them selectively with caregivers, log observations, and access AI-powered guidance.

3. No Medical Advice

Know My Child does not provide medical advice. The App, including the Ask the Circle AI feature, is for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of qualified health providers with questions about medical conditions.

4. Account Responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You are responsible for all content you enter, including child profile data
• You must have legal authority over any child whose information you enter
• You are responsible for managing caregiver access and sharing permissions

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Enter false or misleading information about a child
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Share access credentials with others
• Attempt to access data belonging to other users
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Know My Child offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

7. Caregiver Access

When you share a child's profile with a caregiver:

• The caregiver can view the sections you have shared
• You can revoke access at any time
• You are responsible for choosing appropriate caregivers to share with
• MindAble Solutions LLC is not responsible for how caregivers use the information you share

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by MindAble Solutions LLC. You retain ownership of all content you create within the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MindAble Solutions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
